How I increase ROI of my business using Google Adwords Traffic?

Labels:

If you are running an online business then you definitely have a website for it. Having a website simply means that you need to get traffic on it to increase your revenue. Not only that you can rely on search engines like Google to divert natural traffic towards your website but you can also use various services of Google itself to increase ROI of your business. One of the commonly used Google’s services is Adwords. Now, you might have already heard about this service but you may now know how to use it effectively for increasing the ROI of your business. In this post, I’m going to share some tips that have helped me and will also help you to increase ROI of your business using Adwords traffic.

1. Go for specific keywords

Let’s say that you are running a travel website and the main keyword in your business niche is “Travel”. Of course, you would like to hit that keyword but do you really think that this technique will work for you because “Travel” is a general keyword that is used by almost all travel service providing companies. Moreover, you will have to spend more money on purchasing this keyword for Adwords campaign. So, this is not a good deal. It is preferred to go for specific keywords that have around 2000-5000 search volume each month.

2. Write Keyword in your ad’s first line

Even if your results is shown above the number position holding website in Google SERPs, people will not be interested in buying your services or products if you haven’t used the keyword cleverly. A good idea is to place your keyword in the first line so a person can read it with a glimpse of eye and make up his mind about using your services.

3. Use the same keyword in your landing pages

Of course, each ad is linking back to your website with a specific landing page. Make sure to use the same keyword that you have used in that ad on your landing page. If a person is looking for specific services then he will leave your website as soon as he lands on the home page. Make sure that the traffic from your Adwords ad campaign is landing on the right page from where they can find something of their interest.

4. Increase the readability of your ads

Once of the most important things in marketing is to get your message through effectively. If you will use small letters for your ad title then it will never grab attention of readers. Instead, you can try capitalizing the letters in your ad. This will not only grab the attention of readers but they will be tempted to at least click on the link and see what you are offering. Of course, if you will be offering something that they need, you will make a sale easily.
A marketing campaign is of no use if it cannot increase the ROI of your business and many people waste a lot of money by running flop Adwords campaigns just because they don’t know how to turn their visitors into customers.

XBox Surface: Microsoft's New Gaming 7 inch Tablet

Labels: ,

Back in June, leaked documents regarding a device “Xbox Surface”. The specifications of the device hinted on it being a dedicated 7-inch tablet for gaming. From a recent report from The Verge an insider source at Microsoft confirmed that Xbox Surface is not a piece of fiction – the company is indeed making a 7-inch tablet for gaming. For the time being many things are still foggy to have a detailed report on the device, but from what’s already known, Microsoft might be initiating a direct rivalry against the likes of PlayStation Vita and Wii U tablet controllers.
Xbox Surface is still in its initial hardware planning stage, so even the core architecture is subject to change. It would probably run a ‘custom’ designed ARM processor (may be the TI CPU). There’s also a chance that Microsoft may switch to an Intel SoC. As expected from any gaming device, Xbox Surface will have high bandwidth RAM.

It has been confirmed that the details and specs mentioned in the leaked document are accurate. Xbox Surface will have a 1280-by-720 HD display. It would come with an SD card slot and for connectivity WiFi and Bluetooth.

It won’t run Windows 8 or its RT version. Xbox Surface will come with its own Windows kernel. Its look and feel will most probably be based on the Windows 8, but it won’t be Windows 8. It’s actually disappointing that Microsoft doesn’t introduce platform uniformity. This OS would probably be designed so as to take the best out of cheaper hardware while drawing less power.

There is a crucial question which still remains unanswered – whether Xbox Surface will be a tablet which is dedicated for gaming or will be sort of a tablet controller like Wii U. The thrust of confusion is the mention of standalone hardware’ in the document leaked in June.

Xbox Surface would be manufactured at the same factories where Surface tablets were manufactured. Following the leak in June, Microsoft had locked down many Xbox factories and restricted employee access to the project. Microsoft has developed a secret hardware manufacturing process and has been operating independent of its traditional manufacturing partners.

It remains to be seen how Xbox Surface impacts the gaming sphere. Microsoft is certainly late in entering the gaming hardware, with simply a tablet controller. Sony and Nintendo have already had enough shares in that. However, if Xbox Surface is a dedicated gaming tablet, it might be a fresh breath in the high-end gaming.
